Dental veneers are custom made covers that fit over the front surface of your teeth, they are used to cover up teeth that have chips, stains, cracks or other dental imperfections, such as gaps or misshaped teeth.  Veneers are usually made of a composite or porcelain material and then bonded to your natural teeth.  Veneers are purely cosmetic in nature and do not strengthen or repair teeth, they cover up problem areas and improve the look of your smile.

Having veneers overseas can be a much cheaper alternative with prices starting in Türkiye at around €1800 per set compared to starting costs of €6000 – €10000 in the United Kingdom, Canada or the United States.  Having veneers installed at home can take several weeks, where as at an accredited dental clinic or dental department within an accredited hospital in Türkiye you can have your smile looking beautiful within 5-7 days.

A Dental Crown is a tooth shaped cap that is created to fit over top of your entire tooth.  It helps to restore teeth that are broken, weakened or worn down over time.  Dental Crowns can also be placed over dental implants and teeth that have had root canals.

Dental Crowns are usually made out of porcelain and are fitted over your tooth which may mean that a small amount of enamel will be removed from you own tooth prior to bonding the crown over it. 

Dental Crowns have a shelf life of between 10-15 years. 

Dental implant surgery is a procedure that involves inserting metal screw posts into the space where a tooth is missing and then covering the screw with a dental crown to provide the look and function of a real tooth.  This is a helpful procedure for people with missing teeth who may have had trouble chewing or eating, or even talking and who perhaps don’t smile as much as they should due to a self-consciousness that comes with having missing teeth.  This procedure is also a great alternative for people who are not yet ready to have dentures or bridgework and who want the look of permanent teeth.  Dental implants last between 15-20 years.
